Your data is stored securely on DigitalOcean managed infrastructure located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). We implement industry-standard security measures including:

- Encrypted password storage (bcrypt hashing)
- Secure managed database with access controls
- Regular security monitoring
4. AI and Third-Party Services
Legal Assist uses the following third-party services:
- Google Gemini AI: Your legal queries are processed by Google's Gemini AI to generate responses. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for their data handling practices.
- Resend: Used for transactional email delivery (verification emails)
- DigitalOcean: Cloud infrastructure and database hosting
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers necessary to operate the app (listed above)
